ERASMUS+ WORKSHOPS

While traditional leadership focuses on problems, Appreciative Leadership focuses on potential, improves organizations and individuals by finding out what is working well and trying to get more out of it. It aims at getting the best out of people who are engaged in a system or a situation.

When we are overwhelmed by negative thinking about mistakes and responsibility, the positive approach of Appreciative Inquiry offers plenty of advantages to meet ever increasing demands. At the same time it is the best way to prepare oneself for the next steps after a crisis is over.

ERASMUS+ WORKSHOPS

Organisations today are microcosms of the wider world that is currently faced with many challenges: growing stress and pressure from several sides – constant change; bureaucracy; strained relationships; lack of motivation and vision; which all take their toll on the quality of teaching as well as learning results.

In addition to this, the educational, cultural and training institutions are preparing the new generations for the future that might be hugely unknown and insecure — given the immense technological, demographic, economic and political changes that we are facing. Within the boundaries of the systems in which we work, the capacity for resilience and positive relationship toward change and people is becoming a key competency. The quality of self-leadership directly affects the quality of collaboration, co-creation and learning. Our aim is to teach participants how to:

  • grow individual and collective resilience in educational institutions
  • reclaim the joy of learning together even within the current system limitations
  • rebuild trust in oneself and others
  • reclaim one’s gifts as educator, by creating generative space where everybody can shine
  • facilitate positive relationships that are key for good learning results

Sociocracy is a participative-democratic, dynamic governance method that brings  cooperation capacity, commitment and empowerment to the people. It works within any decision-making processes, in teams, in organizations, as well as  in the entire society. Long-term we aim to teach Sociocracy with the first pioneers in the southern EU-countries as it will strengthen trust among people and help empower these countries.

Optionally, after the two year program, the group of certified participants will be able to start a Center for Sociocracy in their countries and begin to multiply the knowledge gained.

Rediscovering and establishing our connection with inner and outer values and perspectives shall provide the space and time, shall handle our relationships with wisdom and compassion, to free ourselves from internal blocks, to transform what limits us and live meaningfully and purposefully

Appreciative Inquiry (AI) is a strengths-based, inclusive and actionable approach towards large system change and development. AI works on the premise that every organic system has some inherent generative forces, which when amplified, unleash positive energy and enable collective commitment.

Enneagram is a personality type model tool of self awareness and personal development that can lead us to personal transformation.

As a symbol the geometrical figure consists of a composition of ecumenical wisdom of different religious and spiritual traditions of all the eras and its existence dates back over 2.500 years. It outlines the 9 basic types of human nature and the complex relations between them. It is one clear and precise method we have at our disposal to understand ourselves and others while it shows us the ways and keys to work with relationships.

An experiential journey of self-awareness and personal development based on the Enneagram, Appreciative Inquiry, and Emotional Intelligence (EQ), as bases for individual and community change. The intention is to offer a positive, different way of facing challenges in a creative way, increase general productivity, and reinforce collective commitment.

ERASMUS+ WORKSHOPS

Using appreciative leadership, intercultural and integrative tools

By providing an examination of culture and its implications, we get more clarity about our personal and collective identity and related constructs as identification, integration and knowledge and develop the cultural intelligence. We sence how people experience and engage cultural difference from continuum which extends from ethnocentrism, through ethnorelativism, the experience of one’s own and other cultures as “relative to context.“ to the cosmopolitanism.

Appreciative Inquiry (AI) is a strengths-based, inclusive and actionable approach towards large system change and development. Appreciative Inquiry works on the premise that every organic system has some inherent generative forces, which when amplified, unleash positive energy and enable collective commitment.

The growth increases through integration and balance, so we look for certain balance between the development and integrity and promote a conscious, harmonious and steadily developing in the space of our system. The integral approach is inclusive or holistic rather than exclusivist or reductive, and it values and integrates multiple explanations and methodologies.

In this course we will also focus on:

  • Appreciative Inquiry
  • integral theory
  • Intercultural competence
  • emotional intelligence (EQ)

When we are overwhelmed by negative thinking about mistakes and responsibility, the positive approach of Appreciative Inquiry offers plenty of advantages to meet over increasing demands.

During the course we will also focus on language as a tool while communication is the process of using that tool. Language focuses on words, symbols or signs while communication is centered on the message.

Therefore, the linguistic correctness (appreciative language usage) allows us to be precise in expressing our thoughts appropriately to orient the challenging situations.

Explore hosting and harvesting conversations as a core leadership practice and skill set for leading change.

We will offer practical and effective tools for building our collective capacity, facilitating community engagement processes, and hosting conversations and meetings that effectively include all voices weaved into collective intelligence and inquiry; we will co-build shared knowledge of how to best create wellbeing in our communities and organizations.

  • The following questions will frame our training: How can we more effectively engage a diverse group of stakeholders in order to increase sustainability and wellbeing in our communities?
  • How can we be responsive to the needs of the communities or organizations that we are accountable to or serve?
  • How can we work with adversities and complexity in a way that accounts for all different points of view?

ERASMUS+ WORKSHOPS

Next Stage World gathers a global community of  practitioners and leaders, entrepreneurs and teams establishing themselves in ‘new work’ habits of working and being. Together with other next-stage practitioners and innovators, you will bend the beam of your observation into the practical dimensions of your leadership: from the interior work of developing Self and embodying self-lead culture, to the exterior work of structure and process within organizations.

At this gathering:

The program is driven by the cases, questions and contexts of the participants. The content is adapted to the needs and questions of the participants day by day. Focus is more on improving the questions than needing to know answers.

You must be yearning to explore next stage organising as well as the next stage of self.

You must be longing to interact and learn from a wider community.

ERASMUS+ WORKSHOPS

Εxplore representations as a dynamic method of communication in professional and personal relationships. It brings insight and solutions to a variety of challenges. Issues related to your past, present and future histories are processed for the purpose of achieving understanding and vitality. Any domain can be explored like community, team, family and peer relations regarding topics of health, workplaces, collaborations etc., in depth. Participants may investigate their own system and be active observers for others and many other combinations.

In brief, constellating is an approach to whole systems working which looks at the issues and dynamics of an organisation system such as a family or community) using people as live representatives to provide feedback on the system. It bears some similarities to Moreno’s psychodrama, except that crucially it looks at the consequences from the past, and works with hidden loyalties from the past as well as revealing the dynamics in the present. It can also work with the future in the present and point to resolving energies as well as bringing insights about the deep underlying, difficult issues that are holding a team or organization back. Constellations work from an epistemological basis that we are all part of an interconnected universe and thus can tap intuitively into an ‘informing’ or ‘knowing’ field using a level of knowledge beyond our rational or imaginative processes.

ERASMUS+ WORKSHOPS

You will observe yourselves how much more you will begin to ask questions instead of immediately sharing known solutions; how your quality of listening will increase, and also how your awareness of various assumptions is increasing.

This course shall pave the way for joy, deep and long-term personal and professional success, self-completion, and a better life both in one’s physical and psychological plane.

Our aim is to support participants how to:

  • reclaim the joy of learning together even within the current system limitations
  • rebuild trust in oneself and others

Ιnspiring Trust, Respect and Collective Intelligence

Coaching and Supervision inspire new insights, perspectives and ideas based on the art of questioning.  During the training you dive into systemic appreciative approaches, solution-focused methods and participative tools. Trust is a prerequisite for the Coach or the Supervisor and fear is an outcome regarding lack of trust and lack of confidence so we need trust and confidence builders.

We will see how:

  • our methods bring to light motivation, creativity and innovation more than other “traditional” techniques.
  • to focus on what works well (solution-focused) rather than what doesn’t work (problematic, negative approach).
  • to reflect on the first picture of fear.
  • both perspectives, problematic and solution-focused approach can  analyze and map a problem.
  • to work on the traditional approaches in parallel and be aligned with the new ones.
  • to use and engage alternative activities for high performance.
  • to use and make a toolbox in teams, utilizing their collective intelligence.

Individuals understand the need for change and sustainability. Being sustainable requires knowing how to interpret outer signals and wisely adapt to the external environment continuously and rapidly changes. This workshop provides tools for emergent change and state-of-the-art knowledge on empowering people by building core competences that can bring change and gear development within any circumstances.
