TRAINER AND THE GROUP

Day four shifts focus on to the group. We will concentrate mainly on the most important component of each training session – the trainees. You will learn whatever there is to be known about your role as a trainer and your position in the group: about establishing authority; connecting to the group and shaping the way it works as a whole. You will learn to influence trainees’ emotional and mental states to bring out all the resources that lie dormant in them, and to activate their individual, most effective learning strategies. You will also find out how to spark interest in your topic and how to cope with those who disrupt your work. You will learn effective techniques that will allow you to cope with challenging interlocutors and training participants.

Tell me, and I will forget. Show me, and I may remember. Involve me, and I will understand.” – Confucius

TRAINER KNOW HOW

Day fifth covers all practicalities involved in a trainer’s job, from marketing to the layout of chairs in a room, as your role is not just to arrange for a training session to take place, but to provide its participants with an optimal learning setting. This session will help you build your own trainer know-how. You will receive all the tools needed to be an effective trainer. You are going to learn how to work with clients; how to develop and organize training programs; and how to run group learning sessions. You will learn how to deliver presentations and design interesting interactive trainings. You will be handed effective methods, compelling metaphors, engrossing games and potent techniques.

“In intercultural communities, there is comprehensive mutuality, reciprocity, and equality.”
