Facilitator Train-the-Trainer Course: Diversity Icebreaker & TeamReflect

Course description

Join a unique 6 day facilitator train-the-trainer program designed to enhance your skills in personal and team development using proven methodologies:

  • Appreciative Inquiry (AI)
  • Diversity Icebreaker (DI)
  • TeamReflect (TR)

This immersive program is led by experts Bjørn Z. Ekelund and Dr. Markos Perrakis and offers both professional development and certification opportunities.

Our goal in this program is to combine work related personal development with train-the-trainer competence for the use of Diversity Icebreaker and TeamReflect.

The pedagogical structure during the 6day programme

The Appreciative inquiry method will be applied as a framework for personal, individual and team development. At personal level the participants will apply the Appreciative inquiry for their own development during the week. Focus will be on their work-role. The Diversity Icebreaker will be applied for personal assessment of individual preferences for communication and interaction style. It will also constitute the basis for establishing a psychological safe climate focusing on positive social interaction and feedback for a dialog-oriented learning community. The Diversity Icebreaker will also be applied to introduce interdisciplinarity between the real world (natural sciences), the social world (social sciences) and how we formulate better ideas for future interaction (humanities). The TeamReflect is an assessment that we will apply as an introduction to team –processes as well as for collective reflections on processes during the week. At the end of the week each participant will explore their own case from their context applying learning models established in the course.
