Appreciative inquiry lies at the heart of Fractality. It is a an approach and an attitude, a method with techniques, even a way of life. For Fractality, it is our modus operandus and our raison d’être.
Appreciative inquiry is a method of organizational development based on building up the strengths of the people in the organization. It is a way to discover the best in people, organizations and the world around us. It is the art and practice of asking the unconditional positive questions that strengthen a system’s capacity to apprehend, anticipate and heighten positive potential.
Instead of negation, criticism and downward spiral there is discovery, dream, design and destiny. It works by tapping into the “positive change core”. Appreciative inquiry links the positive core directly to any change agenda; changes never thought possible are suddenly and democratically mobilized.
One Goal:
“Seek the root cause of success.”
(not the root cause of failure)
Two Laws:
“What you look for is what you find.”
(The questions you ask determine the answers you get.)
“Where you think you are going is where you end up.”
Three Principles:
“If you look for problems, you find more problems.”
“If you look for success, you find more success.”
“If you have faith in your dreams, you can accomplish miracles.”
